This council is directed by a 10-member board, responsible for adopting criteria by which schools of public health and programs are evaluated.  These criteria define the expectations ranging from mission and goals to evaluation and planning.  The accreditation status of each school or program is transmitted to the US Department of Education and is included in national publications of accredited institutions of postsecondary education.  For additional information, please visit the CEPH website at http://www.ceph.org.
